TS Galaxy Football Club failed to complete the double over Orlando Pirates in the DSTV Diski Challenge.
The Young Rockets suffered back-to-back defeats. They succumbed to a 2-0 loss at the expense of Pirates at Tsakane Stadium on Sunday.
It was the second defeat in two weeks for the Young Rockets having lost to Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 last week.
Thabiso Monyane broke the deadlock for the Buccaneers in the 3rd minute. Angus Spandiel doubled the lead for the visitors in the 11th minute.
The game went to the interval with Pirates leading by two goals. They were no goals in the second half.
The Young Rockets remain 4th on the log with 35 points after 20 league matches. Next week, they will travel to KwaZulu-Natal to lock horns against Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday at 10 am.
