Winsten Van Der Linde has been instrumental for us between the sticks.
Even though, he has conceded in the past two encounters (against Stellenbosch FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows) but is still amongst the top performing net-minders in the DSTV Premiership.
The 30-year-old has featured in six games for the Rockets in the current season.
Van Der Linde is now a vital cog for the Rockets at the back. He has been colossal for the club keeping three clean sheets (AmaZulu, Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows) in six league outings.
Denis Onyango is ahead of him and on top of the list with more clean sheets. The Ugandan who is plying his trade at Mamelodi Sundowns has amassed four clean sheets.
Van Der Linde is currently second on the list of goal-minders with more clean sheets in the DSTV Premiership. He is tied with Virgil Vries of Swallows. The duo is on three clean sheets after six games.
Van Der Linde will be facing Onyango in our next encounter. He will be looking for his 4th clean sheet which will see him going tied with Onyango if we does manage to beat him.
Next week Tuesday, we have a date with the Brazilians at Loftus Stadium. The game will kickoff at 7.30pm. Two of the best net-minders in the league will go head to head in the battle for clean sheets.
Van Der Linde will be looking to reign supreme in that battle.
