Gabuza rose the highest to beat Winsten Van Der Linde between the sticks for the Rockets. It was a move from the right and side.

Three minutes later, Matsatsantsa A Pitori doubler their lead. It was the same man again, Gabuza.

SuperSport played another high ball in to the box and our last line of defense couldn’t clear their lines.

The game was played a frenetic pace. The Rockets were not deflated by conceding two early goals. They kept on pushing and created numerous goal scoring opportunities but lacked the killer instict in the final third.

Ronwen Williams was well positioned to deny him and then ballooned the other attempt over the bar.

Grobler was left alone in the box but couldn’t direct his header on target from a corner kick delivered by Sipho Mbule on the left and side. Our greatest opportunity in the first half fell in to the path Mbulelo Wambi who failed to find the target after some great work by Tshegofatso Nyama on the left and side.

After the interval coach, Zipho Dlangalala introduced Wayde Lekay and sacrificed Wambi.

Williams kept us at bay again after Mlungisi Mbunjana tested him from distance.

Lekay made an instant impact as his snap short sailed wide. Grobler sealed the game for SuperSport in the 78th minutes.
