TS Galaxy will be looking to add salt into Orlando Pirates’ open wound when the two teams square off on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium, in a DStv Premiership tussle at 3pm.
The game will be live on SuperSport PSL and across all our social media platforms.
The Buccaneers are a wounded lion having been dismantled by Raja Casablanca in their previous encounter.
TS Galaxy marksman, Wayde Lekay, has emphasized the importance of the match, with the Rockets also eager to get back to winning ways.
“Pirates is always a good and tough opponent. With them losing 4-0, I think they have every desire to bounce back. That makes them a hungry lion coming into the next encounter,” Lekay elaborated.
The Rockets dropped points in their previous two matches against Lamontville Golden Arrows and Mamelodi Sundowns.
“It is time for us to turn the corner irrespective of the opponent that we are facing. I feel we deserve to pick up three points,” he added.
These two sides shared the spoils in a 1-all stalemate the last time they met at Orlando Stadium last year.
“It is not a good feeling to lose back-to-back games. It is not a nice feeling at all. We have to try and go there and pick up the maximum points. We have to get that winning feeling once again. Everyone craves the winning feeling. That’s what we have right now.” Lekay explained.
