TS Galaxy is yet to taste defeat against Lamontville Golden Arrows and the Rockets are eager to keep that run intact.
The two teams will battle it out for maximum points on Wednesday at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont. The game is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm.
The first round at the iconic Mbombela Stadium ended in a 1-all stalemate. Shaune Mogaila netted the last-minute equalizer for the Rockets and ensured that our unbeaten run against Abafana Bes’thende remains intact.
It was the second time that these two sides met. They tackled each other for the first time in 2019. Arrows were the favourites to get one over the Rockets when these two teams tussled for the first time in a Nedbank Cup semi-final at Sugar Ray Xulu, but it didn’t go according to plan for the hosts.
We trounced Abafana Bes’thende 3-1 to advance onto the Nedbank Cup final. On Wednesday, we will be meeting for the third time and the main goal for the Rockets is to stretch our unbeaten run against Arrows to three matches.
By doing so we will also enhance our possibilities of finishing in the top eight. A victory in Durban will steer us to 35 points. After 26 league matches, we are currently 8th on the log with 32 points.
