TS Galaxy on course to finish in the top eight

TS Galaxy head coach Owen Da Gama has vowed to work even harder in the last two matches of the 2020-21 DStv Premiership season.

The Rockets claimed the big scalp of Orlando Pirates this past weekend at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

Masilake Phohlongo netted the winner with a well-taken header.

The Rockets will now face Stellenbosch FC away from home on Wednesday at 5pm and then host Kaizer Chiefs in their last game of the season on Saturday at 3pm.

“We will keep on working hard. We will keep on pushing. We are glad that our chairman Mr. Tim Sukazi has shown a lot of support and faith in us. We will keep on working as hard as we can. There’s still a long way to go,” Da Gama elaborated.

After 28 league outings, Galaxy has now amassed 35 points. The club is in pole position to finish in the top eight.

“When you win games like these, it is a sign that we are heading in the right direction and it stimulates the players. It shows us that we are heading in the right direction. We are still under an illusion that we still have a long way to go,” Da Gama added.
