The Rockets are in the relegation zone but they are not fazed by this turbulent period.
Marlon Heugh is optimistic that Galaxy will turn things around.
“As a team, we have to recognize the position that we are in. We have to be honest with ourselves, especially in the next game against Lamontville Golden Arrows.
The Rockets are winless away from home in seven attempts. On Saturday, they will visit Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in a DStv Premiership encounter.
“It is important to motivate the guys. We know where we are. We know exactly what we need to achieve. I’ve worked hard in the past few months to come back to the team and now the opportunity is there. It is time for me to take it and push myself. It is important to move from the position that we are in,” he added.
Galaxy is 13th on the log with 12 points after 14 league matches. Heugh is cognizant of the pressure that they are facing as footballers.
“It is a lot of pressure but we are footballers. Footballers are built out of pressure. That’s when you determine if the player is mentally strong or not. We have to be strong as individuals and know exactly where we want to be. If you are fighting relegation, the mentality has to be strong.
