TS Galaxy head coach Owen Da Gama has refused to complain about the DStv Premiership fixture calendar.
There’s been a lot of stop-and-go in-between matches. Before we played against Lamontville Golden Arrows on Wednesday our last match was 10 days ago, when we succumbed to a 1-0 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Our next assignment is in 10 days time against Orlando Pirates at Mbombela Stadium.
“It makes it very difficult with the momentum but you know what, you can’t be complaining about that. This is a professional league and we got to be professional. You have to prepare accordingly,” Da Gama explained.
The Rockets will be working feverishly behind the scenes as they push hard for the top eight. Right now, they are currently 9th on the league standings.
After 27 league matches, the club has amassed 32 points.
“The last three games will be in six days. They will be coming thick and fast. It makes it difficult but it is the same for everybody. We just have to keep on learning and growing. It is the first season in the PSL for TS Galaxy and we will try and rectify things.” Da Gama stated.
Galaxy will face Pirates, Stellenbosch FC and Kaizer Chiefs in their last three games.
