TS Galaxy beefs up its technical team

TS Galaxy Football Club is pleased to announce the acquisition of the services of Mensur Dogan, who is a UEFA Pro License Educator.

The 50-year-old from Bosnia and Herzegovina has been appointed as the Director of Football at TS Galaxy Football Club, and will also serve as an assistant coach to Sead Ramovic.

Dogan penned a three-year deal with the Rockets.

TS Galaxy FC President Tim Sukazi explained the idea behind the appointment of Dogan.

“Mr. Mensur Dogan has joined our club on good recommendation by our new coach, Sead Ramovic. He brings a wealth of experience as a UEFA Pro License football educator. The UEFA Pro License is the highest coaching standard in the world. Therefore we are truly blessed to have a UEFA Pro License educator amongst our technical team.

“His primary role is to implement a particular football philosophy within all our club structures that will see our club playing the same style of football that will be enjoyed by our supporters.

“I believe that his acquisition will also create a pathway into the UEFA coaching qualifications for our young coaches.”

Dogan is a seasoned tactician who boasts the Uefa Pro Licence in his colorful CV. He produced one of the best finishers in the world in former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko who is now on the books of Inter Milan.

The veteran coach worked for Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation for over 20-years where he served as a Football Educator teaching Uefa A, B, and Pro Licence.

Previously, Dogan was the Director of Youth Academy at the Bosnian outfit, FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo.

“I’m very happy to be here but the results will make me even much happier. We want to make an impact at this beautiful club,” Dogan detailed.

“Coach Sead is a good friend of mine and he asked me to come and add some value to the club. It is my first time here in Africa and I have some time to adapt and acclimatise,” Dogan stated.

We want to develop a football philosophy that is based on attacking football. We want to play football that will be attractive to the supporters. We will strive for that,” he added.

The experienced mentor is also a professor of Sports and Physical Education.
