The Rockets impresses against Royal AM

TS Galaxy Football Club shared the spoils with Royal AM in a 1-all stalemate at Hilton College.

It was a highly contested friendly match. Royal AM broke the deadlock in the first half through Tebogo Potsane.

The Rockets dominated the bulk of the possession and built well from the back. Sibusiso Vilakazi started up front leading the line.

He showed glimpses of his best with some of his deft touches. Despite dominating the first half, the Rockets headed to the interval trailing.

The whole starting eleven was changed and other players were allowed to showcase themselves.

Galaxy restored parity after Aphelele Teto was fouled in the box by Samuel Maganyi. Masilake “Scara” Phohlongo stepped up and found the back of the net from the spot.

The game ended in a 1-all stalemate. The Rockets will take plenty of positives from the match, especially the young players who showed a lot of maturities.

Galaxy is currently doing the preparations for the new season in Pietermaritzburg.
