Ramovic sees the light at the end of the tunnel

Sead Ramovic might have suffered a loss in his first game in charge of TS Galaxy FC, but he is not defeated by the defeat.

Instead, Ramovic is happy with the application of his lads. Speaking with the TS Galaxy FC website, Ramovic reflected on the loss against AmaZulu on Tuesday at Mbombela Stadium.

“I’m proud of my team. I think that we played very well. Our team was compacted and played with structure. We showed some improvement but I believe that we need some time to get better,” Ramovic explained.

The Rockets were reduced to 10-men on Tuesday against Usuthu at Mbombela Stadium after Pogiso Sanoka was shown a red card in the second half.

“Many teams drop their heads when they are a one-man down. But we kept fighting and that’s why I’m proud of them. They showed a lot of character. We didn’t deserve to lose. At least a point would have been fair for us. We made a slight error and conceded a goal. We will try and do better in the next game,” he added.

On Saturday, the Rockets will battle it out for maximum points against Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium.

“We have a great squad. I do not doubt that we will select a good team to face Maritzburg. We will create more chances. Maritzburg also has good players,” Ramovic stated.
