Sead Ramovic is now off the mark as the head coach of TS Galaxy FC in the DStv Premiership.
The German took over the coaching reins four weeks ago. He suffered two defeats in his first two games against AmaZulu and Maritzburg United respectively.
Last night, Galaxy dispatched Baroka FC 2-1 to earn his first victory as the head coach of the Rockets at Mbombela Stadium.
Menzi Ndwandwe and Mthobisi Mngomezulu netted for the Rockets.
“We started the game very well. We played with a lot of speed and kept the bulk of the possession. Our transition was good and we also made some good creative passes in the final third,” Ramovic stated.
The Rockets moved to position 15 on the log after beating Baroka FC.
“We had a lot of chances but we couldn’t convert them into goals. We showed the quality that we have by coming back. I’m happy for the club and our great supporters,” he added.
After beating Baroka, the Rockets will now shift focus to SuperSport United on Friday at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
“We are heading in the right direction. We have to improve and be better. There’s still room for improvement. We have to keep going. We have to show that we are mentally strong.” Ramovic elaborated.
