The former Orlando Pirates striker coached several teams in the Premier Soccer League in the past few years.

He succumbed to death on Thursday. Head coach Da Gama worked with Palmer and shared his memories with TS Galaxy Football Club website.

“It is a sad loss to South African football that a person of Ian Palmer’s caliber has passed on. We can only share the memories of what he has done for South African football. I met coach Ian many years ago. We’ve been in constant contact up until a year ago,” Da Gama elaborated.

Palmer was a true servant of the beautiful game.

“He was a very good human being. I’ve never heard him criticizing anybody. I’ve always heard him talk good about the next person and football. All he wanted to do was to do the job to the best of his abilities. We send our condolences to his family and children. We salute the great man that died.” Da Gama explained.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
