Ndwandwe to strive for consistency

Former Under-20 international, Menzi Ndwandwe, finally opened his account for TS Galaxy FC with a scorcher on Wednesday against Baroka FC at Mbombela Stadium.

His strike proved to be the winner for the Rockets. Ndwandwe came off the bench in place of Mxolisi Macuphu.

He produced a moment of brilliance in the dying minutes of the match as he showed finesse to turn and beat Elvis Chipezeze on his far post.

The goal earned TS Galaxy their first win of the season. They got the better of Baroka 2-1 and Ndwandwe was the hero.

All eyes will be on him to replicate his magic when the Rockets square off against SuperSport United this afternoon at 5.30 pm. The game is live on SuperSport PSL (channel 202).

Ndwandwe wants to maintain consistency in front of goals.

“I’m happy about my first goal at TS Galaxy FC and I want to score more goals if I get more opportunities to play. Coincidentally, it is our first win of the season. I’m optimistic that more wins are coming our way. I’m excited. The win against Baroka was a huge confidence booster for us. This is the start of the good things for the club,” Ndwandwe elaborated.

SuperSport United suffered defeat at the expense of Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium during the week.

“It won’t be an elementary match for us against SuperSport. I do not doubt that they wouldn’t want to lose back-to-back games but we also need these points more than them.” Ndwandwe explained.
