Xola Mlambo is synonymous with success in his career. Ten Ten as he is affectionately known to the masses won trophies during his time with Bidvest Wits and Orlando Pirates.

Last season he steered AmaZulu to the last eight of the Caf Champions League. Mambo has now set his sights on achieving the unexpected with TS Galaxy FC.

“I’ve set like fair enough goals. I want to stay injury free so that I can help the team as best as I can. I want to help the club finish as high as possible on the log. Anything is possible. I’ve seen a team like AmaZulu finishing second on the log. If a team like Leicester City managed to win the league when no one expected them to do so, we can also do it,” an ambitious Mlambo revealed.

The Rockets are no strangers to creating history.

“It is possible for a team of TS Galaxy’s stature to achieve the unexpected. No one expected TS Galaxy to win the Nedbank Cup back in 2019. But they achieved the unexpected while in the NFD. Everyone is working hard. Everyone is determined and we have the highest qualified coach,” he added.

Galaxy is in a red hot form. After three games, the club is unbeaten. It has amassed two victories and one stalemate.

“We will finish in the top eight. We also have the opportunity to finish in the top four. If we can give 110%, we can break into that top four.” Mlambo explained.
