TS Galaxy Football Club Media and Communications Manager, Minenhle Mkhize, has opened a case against Thandi Merafe of Orlando Pirates.
This is after Mkhize was assaulted by Miss Merafe before the game between the Rockets and Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The incident occurred inside the tunnel. A case of common assault was opened at Orlando Police Station on Tuesday and the matter is currently being investigated by the police.
Mr Mkhize escaped with no injuries. It is an unfortunate incident and we hope that it doesn’t happen again in our football because it tarnishes the image of the National Soccer League.
