Bosnia and Herzegovina international, Igor Makitan is set to return to action next month.
Makitan has been out of action for the past three months. The lanky defender suffered an ankle injury at training back in December.
TS Galaxy FC physiotherapist Brendan During opened up about Makitan’s injury.
“Igor Makitan suffered a traumatic dislocation on the 15th of December 2021. Thank God, there were no other associated injuries. He went to the hospital and the ankle was put back in place. There are no fractures or tears or too much ligament damage,” During explained.
The 27-year-old defender featured regularly for the Rockets during the first half of the season.
”We are three months down in terms of his healing process. We normally look at the period of three months. These are average for this kind of injury. Hopefully, in the next four weeks, we can have him at training,” he added.
Makitan is returning to action next month.
“The good news is that he has started training. We are happy about that and with happy. He has great movement and he is feeling good. We are very positive at this stage. We are hoping that he will make his return to the team at the beginning of April.” During elaborated.
