TS Galaxy talisman, Mxolisi Macuphu wants to continue where he left off against Cape Town City.
Macuphu netted the brace for the Rockets as we succumbed to a 3-2 loss in a highly contested encounter against the Citizens in Cape Town.
Macuphu has been searching for his maiden strike in the colours of Galaxy and it finally came against City.
Speaking with TS Galaxy website, Macuphu made it clear that he wants to strive for consistency.
“The two goals have been coming. As a striker that hoe you get judged personally. I feel, I’ve had some quality games but the goals were the only problem. To finish off with a brace, it feels great and wonderful. I look forward to continue where I left off,” Macuphu detailed.
The Rockets will open their account in the new year against Baroka FC at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit at 7pm.
Macuphu will be looking to add in to his tally and continue with his rich veins of form.
“If feels great to be back at training after the Christmas break. The first day, is always the toughest. The nicest part is that we started on a good note. We look forward to finish the first round of the season as we’ve only played eight games and left with seven games,” Macuphu elaborated.
January is going to be a long month for the Rockets. We have seven games to contest.
“We want to start on a good note in the month of January.” Macuphu concluded.
