Shaune Mogaila is the man on the mission. He has featured in nine matches for the Rockets in the DSTV Premiership this season.
The speedy winger has contributed with two goals in his 500 minutes.
After our clash against Baroka FC, we sat down with Shaune Mogaila (SM) to discuss the match, his goals and objectives.
TS Galaxy (TSG): Shaune, what kept you guys going against Baroka?
Shaune Mogaila (SM): It was about team spirit, hunger, determination and hard work. We could have killed the game in the first half if we converted our chances. We had a lot of good chances. I feel, we could have won this game (It ended 2-2). It is sad because it is the second time we find ourselves in this situation.
Against Lamontville Golden Arrows, we were in a similar situation. They scored and we had to find the equalizer and ended up drawing the game. But a point is better than nothing.
TSG: You seem to be enjoying playing in this stadium (Mbombela Stadium).
SM: This is our home ground. That’s where I should show more of my ability. So, if I get an opportunity to get an equalizer or score a winner for the team, I should rise and do that. This is a learning curve as well.
TSG: Our next assignment is against SuperSport United. What can we expect in that encounter?
SM: I think we stand in a good chance of beating SuperSport United if we can make sure that we don’t concede. If we don’t concede, we stand in a good chance to win games. It is a big one on Saturday against SuperSport. We are at home again and we have to use that in to our advantage.
TSG: Tell us about your goals and objectives.
SM: The most important thing as an individual, it is to get those minutes. My goal is to improve. I’m now at a different level. I need to reach even more greater heights. I want to score as many goals as possible. That’s the ultimate goal. I want to get more game time. That means, I have to stay more determined and dedicated to my job in the field of play. That will help me accomplish my goals.
