Shaune Mogaila started the new DSTV Premiership like a house on fire for TS Galaxy FC but unfortunately an injury hampered his progress.
The speedy winger is currently out with a knee injury and is eager to make a come back.
TS Galaxy(TSG) : How are you dealing with your current situation?
Shaune Mogaila (SM): Injuries are part and parcel of the game. In a contact sports, they are bound to happen. They can happen anytime. I have to be positive. It is important to have a positive mindset. I’m hoping to get back in to the pitch very soon before the season end.
TSG: How does it feel to be reuniting with coach, Owen?
SM: I worked with coach Owen at Highlands Park. He is the one that signed me and gave me my first professional contract. We’ve worked very well together with him at Highlands Park. I know what he requires. I hope we will continue where we left off at Highlands Park.
TSG: You started very well, how was your recipe to your success?
SM: My teammates has helped me a lot. They have made it easy for me. I always try to do the best I can. When I come back, I’ll be looking to continue where I left off before I got injured.
TSG: Before you got injured, you scored two goals and made two assists. How far can you go?
SM: I’ve scored two goals in my 10 appearances and assisted a few. For now, the focus is to get back in to action and get more game time. That’s the most important thing. If I get more game time, I’ll also get more opportunities of scoring. I want to score as many as I can and I want to create as many goals as I can. The focus is to get back, work hard and get back to the team.
TSG: How does it feel to see the team back to winning ways?
SM: I’m happy to see the team doing well because we were struggling. To see the team getting back to winning ways is motivating me. It is pushing me to be more eager to get back to action. I want to be part of the winning team.
TSG: Your message to the boys for our upcoming game against TS Sporting?
SM: All the best of luck. I know you guys will do well. We have the experience in the team. Go out there and make us proud. We are behind you all the way. Don’t forget to enjoy.
