TS Galaxy are going through turbulent times but veteran defender, Bevan Fransman is adamant that the Rockets will turn their fortunes sooner rather than later.
The Rockets will lock horns against Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit at 3.30pm on Saturday.
The club is going through a barren run of eight games without a victory.
Speaking with TS Galaxy website, Fransman explained why will it take for Rockets to get back to winning ways.
“It sounds good to say 60 points. We need to aim for as much points as possible in the last 20 games. Every team does go through a difficult period in a season and we are not an exception. We are in a difficult position, we know that. The determination, willingness and the desire to improve has to be there. We have to take ourselves out of the situation,” a determined Fransman said.
The Rockets are still searching for their first victory in 2021 having shared the spoils with Baroka FC and sufferer a 3-0 loss at the expense of SuperSport United.
“We have to play with the right attitude. We have to play as a solid unity. The effort in the field of play has to be there,” Fransman explained.
At the start of the week, the club appointed Owen Da Gama as the new head coach of the Rockets.
“It is a familiar feeling. Not much time have been passed since we been together. It is a common feeling. We’ve worked together in the past two years. I know what he is expecting,” Fransman elaborated.
The club will facing our former coach in Dan Malesela.
“It is not emotional for me at all. Three points remains the same. There’s no bonus point. We are still playing for the same three points and there’s still job to be done.” Fransman stated.
