TS Galaxy FC is still searching for that elusive victory in the 2021/22 DStv Premiership and Sead Ramovic is optimistic that the Rockets will reign supreme on Tuesday when they square off against Baroka FC at Mbombela Stadium.
The game will kick-off at 5pm. It will be covered across all our social media platforms.
The Rockets have endured turbulent times in the current season. The club is going through a barren run of eight games without a victory.
“If you want to have any chance against any team in the league, you’ve got to be at your best. I believe that hard work, determination, and dedication will be key in winning the games,” a confident Ramovic explained.
The German tactician took over the coaching reins from the departed Owen Da Gama. He has yet to taste victory in three matches (Sekhukhune United, AmaZulu and Maritzburg United).
The Rockets have succumbed to three defeats under his tutelage.
“I must put the team in the right frame of mind. That includes the approach and strategies that we are going to implement on match days. We had a great week at training. I believe that we are ready to give our best and win games now,” he added.
The Rockets are languishing at the foot of the table having suffered six losses and recorded two stalemates.
“Ball possession is very important. If you dominate possession, you get enough chances to score goals. Apart from dominating possession, it is also imperative that we have speed, come up with creative passes to penetrate the opposition defence, and be ruthless in transition. There are a lot of things. Everyone should understand their roles. I’m happy that they [the players] are starting to understand how I want them to play. They have shown it in the last two games,” Ramovic detailed.
Clean sheets have eluded the Rockets in the current season. In eight league outings, they have recorded one clean sheet.
“We have to defend well as a team. If we don’t defend well as a team, we will be exposed. We also have to improve our offensive game. We had a lot of chances and we didn’t score. Players are ready and we had a great week.” Ramovic concluded.
Galaxy’s defensive line has been broken 13 times, while the club has netted four goals, but Ramovic has emphasized the importance of improving on all fronts.
