TS Galaxy players are ready to step up and save the Rockets from relegation.
The Mpumalanga outfit has endured some turbulent times in the current season. After 29 league outings, Galaxy is not safe from relegation.
They need to beat Chippa United on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to avoid relegation.
TS Galaxy defender, Given Msimango has informed the TSG media department that they are ready to deliver the goods on the last weekend of the DSTV Premiership matches.
“We’ve put ourselves in a very difficult position as a team. We need to fight this weekend. We have to try and win this game against Chippa United to help salvage the season. It’s been a difficult season and low in terms of standard. It is an important game and the must-win game for us,” Msimango explained.
The Rockets will welcome Pogiso Sanoka who missed the previous game against Marumo Gallants due to suspension.
In his absence, the technical team of Galaxy drafted Macbeth “Killer” Mahlangu. The Rockets recorded another clean sheets.
“The intensity of the way we and we press together as a team has helped. It has changed a lot. That has been attributed to the training sessions that we’ve been conducting because the personnel has not changed. It is just a change of mindset. I’m happy that it has worked in the last few games. We still need improvement and we will continue to work hard.” Msimango elaborated.
Galaxy has proven to be resolute in the second half of the season keeping clean sheets against the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Sekhukhune United, Swallows FC, Orlando Pirates, and Gallants.
