TS Galaxy Football Club continued with their rich vein of form against Swallows FC this past weekend.
Augustine Kwem notched up the winner in the 35th minute for Galaxy in the DSTV Premiership tussle at Dobsonville Stadium.
The Rockets dominated the first half and created better goalscoring opportunities.
Lindokuhle Mbatha produced a moment of brilliance in the 35th minute as he dribble past Swallows’s defence before laying the ball to the path of Kwem who finished with aplomb.
Kwem almost doubled the lead a moment later but fluffled his line.
The Rockets were dealt a major blow after the interval when Ebrahim Seedat was given his marching orders. He received his second yellow on the 70th minute.
Galaxy showed character as they hang on for the last 20 minutes. The victory moved the club from the foot of the table.
After 18 league outings, the Rockets have now amassed 16 points. They are now 14th on the log.
On Tuesday, Galaxy will lock horns against AmaZulu at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The game will kick off at 7.30 pm and it is live on SuperSport PSL (channel 202).
Seedat will start his two-match suspension.
