History was made at Orlando Stadium on Thursday night when Ethan Brooks made his debut for Bafana Bafana in an international friendly against Uganda.
The 19-year-old dazzled on his first appearance for the senior national team. He was imperial for Bafana in the middle of the park and played the whole 90 minutes.
Brooks became the first player in the history of TS Galaxy to be capped at senior level.
He didn’t disappoint as Bafana swept past Uganda 3-2 under the tutelage of Helman Mkhalele, who was at the helm in the absence of Hugo Broos.
Brooks performed like a seasoned international player on his debut. The masses in the football fraternity were impressed by his display.
The young Rockets will be looking to earn more Bafana Bafana call ups in the near future.
