TS Galaxy only made one signing during this transfer window period and head coach, Owen Da Gama has explained the logic behind the idea.
Da Gama took over the coaching reins from Zipho Dlangalala last month. He has brought in a new lease of life at the club.
When he took over the Rockets were struggling at the bottom of the table but has turned things around in a short space of time.
In four league matches, the Rockets have recorded two victories, one defeat and one stalemate.
“I had to come in and give everybody an opportunity. When I arrived there were some injuries. Given Msimango was out injured. We were looking to see if we can strengthen that area. There were also still other players like Figo (Justice Figuareido) that were out with injuries. Karabo Tshepe is another one who was out with an injury. They haven’t even featured as yet. It was going to be unfair to bring players for the sake of just bringing out players,” Da Gama stated.
Pogiso Sanoka was the only acquisition for the Rockets during this transfer window period. The former Maritzburg United defender penned a two-year-deal with the club.
“We’ve got to take what we have here and make the most out of it. We need to give everyone a chance.” Da Gama elaborated.
