TS Galaxy head coach, Owen Da Gama, can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Da Gama is cognizant that all is not lost and soon the sun will shine for the Rockets.
The club is currently going through a barren run of results on the field of play.
“What we’ve tried to create is rotation because a lot of players are a bit tired. During our unbeaten run, we played the same team in eight matches.
“We couldn’t fix something that was not broken,” Da Gama elaborated following Galaxy’s loss to AmaZulu this past weekend.
The Rockets will face Baroka FC on Wednesday at Peter Mokaba Stadium in a DStv Premiership tussle at 5pm.
“We will keep on pushing and we will keep on trying. We gave players an opportunity and this is their first season playing against seasoned players from AmaZulu. The majority of their players are players that have been in the PSL. We will keep on trying and we will keep on working hard,” he added.
After 23 league games, the Rockets are currently 13th on the league standings with 26 points.
“We will keep on building. It is a process. We will keep on going. We are in the building stage of the team. At the end of the day, you’ve got to pay the price while trying to get things right.
“Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day. We defended poorly in the first half-an-hour. At half-time, we made some changes to try and stabilize the defense.” Da Gama explained.
