TS Galaxy Head Coach Owen Da Gama is not astonished that Ethan Brooks will be dazzling in the Bafana Bafana colours in two crucial World Cup qualifiers.
Bafana Bafana has been pitted against Zimbabwe and Ghana in their two opening qualifiers for a place at the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
Brooks will be part of the squad that will be representing Bafana Bafana. Da Gama is delighted by the progress of the 19-year-old midfield dynamo.
“We are very happy for Ethan. He deserves to be called-up. He has shown his mettle whenever he has been given an opportunity to play. He also did well in the Cosafa Cup for Bafana Bafana,” Da Gama detailed.
Brooks is making waves in South African football with his vigilant displays.
“He has been putting a lot of work at training. You’ll put him in any position. He will give you his best. We are very proud and happy for him,” he added.
Brooks will report for camp on Sunday where he will team up with his Bafana Bafana teammates.
“This should be a lesson to all the younger players in the team that if you work hard you’ll get opportunities.” Da Gama stated.
