TS Galaxy are aiming to get off in to a flying start under the tutelage of the majestic, Owen Da Gama.
The Rockets will entertain Chippa United this afternoon at 3.30pm in the DSTV Premiership.
Da Gama who took over the coaching reins from Zipho Dlangalala on Monday will be seating on the bench for the first time after he was appointed as the head coach of the club.
TS Galaxy captain, Given Msimango has set his sights on victory against the Chilli Boys this afternoon.
“It is very important to make your home ground a fortress. It sends out a very strong message to oppositions. It is high time that we start winning games here at Mbombela Stadium so that we can advance ourselves in the league,” Msimango stated.
Ironically, today we will be facing our former coach, Dan Malesela. He still searching for that elusive victory as the head coach of the Chilli Boys.
The Rockets are also in desperate need of points having not tasted victory in the past eight games.
“There’s no emotion attached. It’s been wonderful working under coach, Dan. It was very unfortunate that our relationship had to end. We looking forward to meet him at the stadium and playing against him.” Msimango elaborated.
The diminutive defender worked with Da Gama at Highlands Park previously.
“Nothing has changed. Coach, Owen is still coach Owen. I understand the way he plays and how he wants us to play. I think most of the guys understand it and the rest of the team are starting to understand it. Looking forward to the rest of the season with him.” Msimango explained.
