Melusi Buthelezi fulfilled his dream of representing his country this past weekend when he made his Bafana Bafana debut at the splendid FNB Stadium.

Bafana ran riot against Sierra Leone in an international friendly match. They emerged as 4-0 victors.

Themba Zwane scored the brace while Mihlali Mayambela and Aubrey Modiba were also on the scoresheet.

Buthelezi who has been in sparkling form for the Rockets started on the bench. He made his debut coming off the bench.

The 24-year-old replaced Ronwen Williams after the interval. Buthelezi went on to keep the clean sheet on his debut for Bafana.

Buthelezi is expected to be given another opportunity when Bafana locks horns against Botswana on Tuesday at FNB Stadium.
