Ethan Brooks is set to dazzle in the Bafana Bafana colours once again.
TS Galaxy FC is going through a barren run of results in the DStv Premiership. The club is yet to get off the mark in eight league matches.
As a result, the Rockets are lying at the foot of the table. But despite the slow start in the league by the Rockets, the national selectors still recognised the diligence of Brooks.
“The fact that the national selectors selected me even though we are not doing well, shows that they have faith in me. I’m glad that they did,” Brooks explained.
He has played a pivotal role in the World Cup qualifiers for Bafana Bafana. The South African senior national is at the summit of their group after four games. They have amassed three victories and one draw.
“I’m happy that I’m featuring in the Bafana Bafana squad once again. It shows that I’m working very hard and doing the right things. I’m just honoured to be in that Bafana Bafana squad once again,” he added.
Next month Bafana Bafana will lock horns against Zimbabwe and Ghana in the last two group matches. If they finish at the summit, they will qualify for the Play-Offs.
“We should continue where we left off. We have to work together as a team and be a unit.” Brooks elaborated.
