TS Galaxy FC starlet Ethan Brooks is working diligently in the Bafana Bafana camp to fight for a starting berth.
Bafana Bafana will lock horns against Zimbabwe today at the National Stadium in Harare, in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Brooks is looking forward to this mouthwatering clash.
“The first training session under Hugo Broos was very good. He demands a lot from the players. We are working hard. I enjoyed his training sessions,” Brooks explained.
Bafana Bafana hasn’t qualified for the World Cup in 20 years.
“The mood in the camp is good and everyone is looking forward to the game against Zimbabwe,” he added.
Brooks was one of the shining lights for Bafana Bafana in the Cosafa Cup. He also performed with distinction on his debut against Uganda.
“The competition for places is stiff. Everyone is fighting hard to be in the starting line up and so am I. I’m also fighting for my place,” Brooks stated.
Bafana Bafana will welcome Ghana on Monday at FNB Stadium.
“The reception from the senior players has been good from the likes of Siyanda Xulu, Percy Tau, and Ronwell Williams. We’ve acclimatized well in Zimbabwe.” Brooks elaborated.
