TS Galaxy FC star midfielder, Ethan Brooks, produced a sparkling performance in the colours of Bafana Bafana last night against Ghana at FNB Stadium.
The 19-year-old was pivotal for Bafana Bafana at the heart of midfield breaking up the attack and also dishing up some deft touches for his fellow teammates.
Bafana Bafana emerged as 1-0 victors against the Black Stars in a crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier. They are now sitting at the summit of the group with four points after two games.
Brooks started on the bench on Friday against Zimbabwe at the National Stadium in Harare.
The new Bafana Bafana mentor decided to show faith in Brooks for yesterday’s encounter and the young midfielder didn’t disappoint.
He impressed and was unlucky not to get the man-of-the-match gong for his eye-catching display.
Brooks played the whole 90 minutes. He will be looking to steer the Rockets to their first victory of the season when he returns from national duty.
TS Galaxy will welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows at Mbombela Stadium at 3pm on Saturday in a DStv Premiership tussle.
After two games, the Rockets are still searching for that elusive victory.
