Shaun Bartlett and Benni McCarthy are household names in South African football but they will have to put their friendship on pause for 90 minutes when TS Galaxy square off against AmaZulu on Saturday.
The game will be staged at Jonsson Kings Park Stadium at 5pm. It will be live on SuperSport Variety 3 and across all our social media platforms.
The duo of Bartlett and McCarthy formed a deadly partnership during their playing days and represented Mzansi with flying colours in Europe.
They were the pillar of strength for Bafana Bafana during their heyday. McCarthy is still the all-time leading marksman for South Africa with 31 strikes and Bartlett is second on the list with 29 goals.
At some stage, Bartlett was leading the chart but McCarthy surpassed him.
Bartlett is currently our assistant coach while McCarthy is at the helm at Usuthu.
On Saturday our own Bartlett will be looking to get one over his long-time friend, McCarthy.
